Build It — Weather Report

Build the sentence left to right. Two choices are yours and both can be wrong: the red word has to follow the subject, and the yellow time word has to match the form — going to goes with tomorrow, everything else goes with today or right now. Every word in the bank works with every subject, so nothing is off limits. Then tap 🔊 to hear it.

★ build a sentence  ·  ★★ change the subject and fix the red word  ·  ★★★ build one in each of the three times
✂ Cut here — Example Sentences
Present: It is cold today.  ·  I am hot right now.  ·  They are cold today.    Present continuous: It is getting cold right now.  ·  She is getting hot today.  ·  I am getting cold right now.    Going to: It is going to get cold tomorrow.  ·  They are going to get hot next week.  ·  She is going to get cold tomorrow.
The two rules: I → am  ·  he, she, it → is  ·  you, we, they → are.    And going to → tomorrow / next week; everything else → today / right now.
