"Look at the story. I read it once. Now read it with me. Number 1 — put your answer in the chat." Then everyone writes one sentence about their own street, and you read twelve different streets out loud.
Three new words. Tap each one and listen. Your language is under every word.
Read the story. Tap a part to hear it again.
Today is Fatima's road test. She is sitting in the car. The examiner is sitting next to her. He is looking at her. Fatima is nervous.
The examiner is talking. “Start the car. Turn right on Church Avenue.” Fatima is turning right. “Go straight ahead. Now stop at the red light.” Fatima is stopping. “Good. Don’t turn on red. Wait for the green light.”
Now they are driving to the corner of Nostrand Avenue. “Don’t park here. Park in front of the library.” Fatima is parking the car. The examiner is writing on his paper. “You are a good driver. You pass!” Fatima is not nervous now.
Write the missing word. Then type it in the chat.
Read the story again. Answer with one or two words.
Now write about YOUR street. Put your sentence in the chat.
Write one thing a driver must NOT do on your street. Start with Don't.
Like this: Don't park in front of my door.
