Tech Help at the Center

This is the community center newsletter. Read about Walter. Tap a part to hear it again.

Fifty years ago, people typed letters on a typewriter. They mailed the letters and waited for weeks. In 1980, Walter worked at a post office.

These days, Walter emails the family every week. He texts friends and prints photos here at the center. The tech help class is on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Next month, Walter will check a green card case online. He will type the receipt number and click Check Status. Someday, phones will listen and answer. Walter will ask questions, and the phone will answer!

Citizen life: check any USCIS case online: a green card, a work permit, or citizenship.
