PatinaThe Sentence Crane Teacher hub

A full-class parts of a sentence game

The Sentence Crane

The crane brings one part of the sentence. What is it, and where does it go on the diagram? Every level adds one new part: articles, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, pronouns. Put every part in its place and the sentence builds a floor. Five floors and the building is finished.

In class

  1. Turn on Teaching Mode (top right) and the game fills the window you share, with the pen ready. On Zoom, tick Share sound so the class hears the crane.
  2. You say: “Look at the beam. What is it? Where does it go?”
  3. The class writes the part in the chat. Everybody answers, not one student.
  4. You click the place on the diagram, a button, or the letter on the button. A wrong answer bumps and comes back, so the class tries again. Start at level 1 and climb.

Students can play it alone too. Send them this link for homework. It works on a phone, there is nothing to install and there is no account.
